Amethyst Garden

This is my amethyst cluster I purchased at the Roseville Gem and Mineral Show in CA. Amethyst is said to protect the wearer from drunkenness. Now considered a semi-precious stone, amethyst was considered to be just as valuable as diamonds, rubies, and emeralds during the ancient times. It is the stone of St. Valentine and faithful love. It has many nicknames, one being "Gem of Fire" due to its energy of passion, fire, creativity, and spirituality. Keeping a piece of amethyst near your bedside is said to protect you against nightmares, and keeping it with your divination tools (tarot, pendulum, runes, etc.) is said to keep their energies protected from corruption and focused for easier use.
